Beinn Ime, Tuesday 12th February 2008
We had planned a ridiculously early start and a trip up to the Drumochter Hills, but by the time we?d got back from the Monday club night at 11pm, the enterprise didn?t seem quite so appealing! So then, a more local hill and a slightly longer sleep ?.we decided on Beinn Ime.
As most people know Beinn Ime I?ll not bore you with an account of our day?..suffice to say it was wonderful, clear blue skies, amazing views and beautiful colours. Hopefully the photos will tell the story. If anyone is getting fed up with thick cloud, gales and driving rain or snow, then this will be a reminder of just how good the hills can be when the sun comes out! Happy walking.
