Membership 2014 - 2015
majority of our members live within North Ayrshire and are in their late
20's to some in their 60's. All of whom enjoy the outdoors and a deep
appreciation of the skills and the respect required for the Scottish mountains
in all seasons..
take part in a variety of mountaineering activities. Most are keen summer
and winter hill walkers. In addition, some are also keen rock and ice
climbers who climb whenever time and conditions permit.
club organises weekend meets and day walks throughout the year along with
a number of social events. Members meet socially, once a month, on the
third Monday of most months (Check
the Calendar of Events)
where we have quiz nights, safety videos and slideshows of recent club
outings, along with refreshments if required!
Members also receive all the benefits of being affiliated to Mountaineering Council of Scotland.

If you are interested in becoming a member of Air Na Creagan Mountaineering Club you are invited to attend at least 3 day walks with us before applying for membership. You would also be made welcome at our monthly club nights where you would have the opportunity to meet members. If you require more information about the club or wish to come along to any event please contact Irene Cahill (Club Secretary).
The cost of annual membership for 2014/15 is as follows:
Approximately 75% of the membership fee is given over to the Mountaineering Council of Scotland in respect of each individuals affiliation to the National Governing Body. Therefore Members also receive all the benefits of being affiliated to MC of S.
