Grey Mare's Tail Saturday 27th September 2008

Present - Jacqui, Irene and Mark

Route - Start this circular walk at NT carpark approx 15km NE of Moffat on the A708. Well maintained steep path along the right hand side of this impressive waterfall leading up to Loch Skeen. Then uphill from the SW corner of the loch and veer left round to White Coomb (821m). Continue SW to Carrifran Gans (757m) then decend steep grassy slope S to road. Walk 2 miles back to carpark.
