Report on Stobh Ghabhar

We set off for the Bridge of Orchy area ... we being Malcolm, Gavin, Ewan and myself Peter. On route we met up with Irene, Mike, and Linda at the Green Wellie shop for coffee. After a refreshing cuppa we all set of for the car park for Stobh Ghabhar where Shirley was waiting.

After getting ready we all set of for the hills. As we climbed the path it was decided to take the route up by the waterfalls - this proved a good move , the views were great .

Lunch was had at 1-30 then we set off again over the tops and across the Aonach Eagach Ridge and into the snow line where, after some Photo's, I was unceramoniously attacked with snowballs. Onwards and upwards we went to stop on top of our destination for more grub and a chat with other climbers and more pictures.

On the way down at about 4-30pm we ran into hail and heavy rain, this continued all the way back to the car park. Everyone got changed and we headed for the Inveroran Hotel for dinner - big mistake that turned out to be as it took an hour to get the grub and it wasn't that good when it arrived.

After saying our goodbuys to Shirley, who headed north, we set of for home and another day gone by.
