This was the clubs first trip over the border and our second overnight stay since our trip to Arran earlier this year.
The group congregated at the Wasdale Hall Youth Hostel before tackling the climb. At 978 metres Scafell Pike is the the highest of the Scafell peaks and the highest mountain in England.
